Editorial standards
Nobody pays for inclusion or placement
There is no sponsor inventory and no rate card. If that ever changes, it will be announced on this page before it happens, and payment will not influence editorial selection.
Vendor sessions are labeled
A session hosted by a company that sells to behavioral health organizations is marked vendor-run. A session paid for by a vendor on another organization's calendar is marked sponsored, with the sponsor's name. Neither purchases placement. Editorial notes influence the featured selections; upcoming sessions are listed by date.
Every listing is checked against the host's own page
Nothing is taken from press releases or search results. Each session shows the date its listing was last read and links to where it was read. When a detail cannot be traced to the host's page, it does not run.
Our notes are ours; the host's description is theirs
The note under a title is an editorial judgment based on the published agenda, not a review of the full presentation. It explains who might benefit and who should skip it. The host's own description, when shown, is set apart as a quotation so you can weigh it yourself.
The Good Hours is more selective
The subscribed calendar contains only live sessions we think justify reserving time before the day arrives. A specific operational use, a traceable host page, and a verified time are required. Inclusion cannot be purchased.
Gaps are named
The method page lists every organization we track and which ones we currently cannot read.
Corrections
Wrong date, wrong credit, wrong host, a session that no longer exists: email corrections@hourwellspent.com with the link. Confirmed corrections are made when the site is updated, and every session page shows the date it was last checked.
Your address is yours
Subscribers are added only when they ask. The list is never sold, rented or shared with the organizations we cover, including hosts you register with through this site. We do not send registration details to hosts. You choose what to submit on their websites.
What we do not do
No paid placement, no affiliate links, no tracking pixels in the digest, no photography of people who did not ask to be photographed, no claims we cannot trace.
